Kirkwood Neighbors Organization
Kirkwood’s Parks and Public Green Spaces are more than 65 acres of parks and publicly owned green spaces in Kirkwood that includes four conventional parks, two forest preserves, three community gardens, and a historical cemetery originating in pioneer days. These are connected by an evolving system of non-vehicular routes focused on pedestrian and bicycle connectivity and movement away from vehicular dependency.
KNO has long history of being proactive regarding it’s public park and green spaces that generates 2,000 to 3,000 volunteer hours annually. Have a project in mind? Please email our Environmental Committee Chair at environment@historickirkwood.org
